01

Speaking / Moderating

Over the past several years, many deep tech event production teams have asked me to serve as the Master of Ceremonies or a panel moderator.

I am currently working with The Economist for their annual “Commercialising quantum” events as well as their AI and Business Innovation Summits.

Other conference producers have invited me to perform this role, including at the Quantum Innovation Summit in Dubai, Quantum Business Europe in Paris, and Quantum.Tech in Singapore.

Related events have taken place in London, Abu Dhabi, Silicon Valley, Miami, Montreal, New York City, and Washington, D.C.

Please contact me if you need an MC or panel moderator for your next deep tech event.

02

Podcasts / Webinars

I have been a guest on numerous future-career webinars and podcasts with hosts from around the world, including a recent CareerCast podcast produced by the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

I am passionate about sharing my perspective on where exciting future careers are emerging, how to identify them, and how to be successful in pursuing them.

Let’s connect and have a conversation.

Future Career Workshops

How do we prepare for the 21st century’s global borderless workplace? By focusing on signals that provide insight into future economic trends, the implications for business models, and emerging addressable opportunities.

Factors like continuing globalization, the development of technologies such as generative AI, quantum information science, augmented, virtual and mixed reality, robotics, blockchain, data science, the space economy and cryptoassets, as well as the emerging gig economy and contingent worker paradigm, are all intersecting to disrupt traditional business models.

The good news is that there are tremendously exciting opportunities for those prepared to take advantage of these changes.

My workshop begins with a 45-minute context-setting lecture, followed by a 45-minute interactive workshop that takes participants through my Future Career Toolkit — VOICE, ANTENNA and MESH.

The lecture provides a socio-historical perspective on the impact of technology on business models and careers and then moves to a future-looking view of the opportunities that lie ahead. The session concludes with three hands-on activities using the Toolkit.
